El Al: Europe trying to damage Israel's defenses

According to a statement issued by El Al, Britain, Germany and Italy are refusing to allow El Al planes carrying IDF cargo to land on their soil for refueling.

Captain Etai Regev, the chairman of El Al's pilots' union, wrote:

"As a result, cargo planes are taking off from the US with much lighter weight, and are reaching Israel with significantly fewer munitions than needed."

London exploded in political debate last month after cargo planes transporting US-made arms to Israel for use in the Lebanon war landed on British soil en route to their final destination.
