Jew removed from Air Canada flight for praying

An Orthodox Jewish man was removed from an Air Canada flight just before take-off last week after he started to pray in the traditional Jewish manner - by swaying back and forth.

His behavior made several passengers "nervous," according to a flight attendant who told him to stop. She said the airline had to act in accordance with the feelings of the majority of passengers.

But one must wonder if similar complaints regarding the presence or behavior of a particular Muslim passenger would have elicited the same response. Modern "political correctness" suggests they would not.
