Palestinian police riot in Gaza

Five thousand armed Palestinian Authority police officers rioted in downtown Gaza City Tuesday, firing their guns in the air and assaulting the PA parliament building.

They were protesting against not receiving salaries for over seven months, after Hamas' electoral win and failure to recognize Israel resulted in crushing Western economic sanctions.
