Protestors upset after Peres signs petition against homo parade

Ultra-leftist protestors Tuesday slammed Vice Premier Shimon Peres for signing a religious petition against a major international gay pride parade in Jerusalem.

Peres signed the document as part of an agreement with the ultra-Orthodox Shas Party, whose support the elder statesman is seeking in becoming Israel's next president.
