Arab MKs: Israel cannot set rules for us

A group of Israeli Arab Knesset members who visited Syria and Lebanon last week in a show of solidarity with those nations remained defiant in the face of criticism at home upon their return.

The group's leader, lawmaker Azmi Bishara, declared that Israel could not tell its Arab citizens which nations they are allowed to hold contacts with or not.
