IDF raids northern Gaza, but rockets continue

Israeli ground forces raided northern Gaza early Saturday to stop "Palestinian" rocket attacks originating from the area.
The operation came after five Kassam rockets slammed into the southern Israel town of Sderot on Thursday, damaging a local college and a residential structure.
But despite the raid, terrorists managed to fire a single rocket towards the coastal city of Ashkelon Saturday morning. The rocket landed just south of the port city's industrial area, which is home to a major power plant and petrochemical storage facilities.
