Many terror alerts for Yom Kippur

Israel's defense establishment has received at least 17 concrete warnings of planned "Palestinian" terrorist attacks during Yom Kippur.

The planned attacks include "suicide" bombings, shootings, rocket attacks and kidnappings.

As a result of the threat, Israel has imposed a full military closure on "Palestinian"-controlled areas until after Yom Kippur.

A large number of police are also expected to deploy to synagogues throughout the country.
