Hamas' Gaza army nearly ready

Hamas is using tunnels under Gaza's border with Egypt to build a well-equipped and highly-trained army that will be ready to confront the IDF as early as next summer, warn intelligence officials.
Hamas reportedly has 7,500 men under arms in Gaza at present, and they are no rag-tag group of guerillas. Said one official, the army already consists of specialized units, including a short-range missile unit and an anti-tank unit.
Defense officials have been warning for months that the flow of arms and military experts into Gaza will soon turn the coastal strip into an area as dangerous as southern Lebanon.
Many are urging the government to launch an immediate large-scale invasion of Gaza to destroy the growing threat before it's too late.
