Hamas will never recognize Israel

Hamas, which controls the Palestinian Authority, will never recognize the Jewish state's right to exist, said PA Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh in an address to Ramadan celebrants on Sunday.
Haniyeh said Hamas would resist all pressure to "recognize and normalize relations" with Israel.
He also said that Hamas has a problem with the 2002 Arab League peace initiative because it offers Israel full recognition and normalized relations with the Arab world in return for surrendering Judea, Samaria and the Golan Heights.
Even full Israeli capitulation to current Arab demands is not enough for Hamas, whose charter calls for the violent decimation of the Jewish state.
