Rocket lands next to Sderot mayor's house

A Kassam-class rocket fired by Gaza-based terrorists landed just feet from the home of Sderot Mayor Eli Moyal Saturday evening.

The Moyal family was at home at the time of the attack, trying to enjoy the Sukkot holiday.

There were no injuries, though several of Moyal's neighbors were treated for shock.

Moyal has been outspoken in his criticism of the government's failure to fully unleash the IDF against the Gaza terrorist infrastructure.

Israel regularly launches pinpoint strikes against terrorist rocket cells, but many officials say a large-scale invasion is the only way to put them out of business.
