Hamas leader okays state in 1967 borders...as launching pad for terror

Overall Hamas leader Khaled Mashal said in remarks published Thursday that he is ready to accept a "Palestinian" state in Judea, Samaria and Gaza, but not as a permanent solution to the conflict.
Rather, that state would serve as a launching pad for further "resistance" against Israel until all of so-called "Palestine" was captured.
Not surprisingly, the international media, and some foreign governments, have and are expected to view Mashal's statement as some kind of "moderation" of Hamas' positions.
Yasser Arafat and his PLO were once dedicated to the utter military destruction of Israel. But as soon as Arafat agreed to temporarily accept a truncated state from which to continue the battle, he was accepted as a statesman and showered with money.
