IDF kills 7 Hamas gunmen in north Gaza

Israeli forces gunned down at least seven Hamas terrorists, and wounded another 10 in a fierce gunbattle in northern Gaza overnight.

The large incursion force entered Palestinian Authority-controlled areas in an effort to curb terrorist rocket fire on nearby Israeli towns in the Negev region.

The soldiers were met by a Hamas force wielding anti-tank missiles. The advanced weapons did not help the "Palestinians."
