Self-hating Jews attack IDF efforts to prevent Ramadan violence

Self-hating Israeli Jews and their happily collaborating Israeli Arab partners Thursday attacked the painstaking undertaking by Israeli officials to prevent outbreaks of massive Muslim riots in Jerusalem during the Islamic holiday of Ramadan.
The attack was led by the extreme leftist women's group Machsom Watch, whose members repeatedly harass and interfere with Israeli soldiers manning checkpoints against terrorist infiltration into Jewish population centers.
Using a large advertisement published in the Israeli press, the group slammed the government for restricting the access of some Arab men to the Temple Mount, an Israeli security measure designed to prevent the outbreak of anti-Jewish rioting by mobs on Israel's holiest site.
Ignoring the history of intolerance and excessive violence perpetrated by Muslims on the Temple Mount in times past, Machsom Watch accused Israel's leadership of breaching the country's Declaration of Independence which guarantees freedom of worship for members of all religions.
According to the advert, the State of Israel "PREVENTS tens of thousands of Palestinians from reaching their holy sites to pray... FORBIDS Muslim men under the age of 45 from praying at the e-Aksa Mosque ... prevents the passage of crowds of observant Muslims, pushing them back behind checkpoints and fences - by threats, shouts, shoving and teargas."
It concluded with a call to "let the Palestinians pray at the holy sites in Jerusalem."
Tellingly, the group, which describes itself as "Women against the Occupation [sic] and for Human Rights" is only concerned about the rights of Arabs, and refuses to recognise the rights of Jews to
While it will defend the "right" of Muslims to pray on what they call Islam's third holiest site, Machsom Watch will not take a stand on behalf of the right of Jews to pray on what has for 3000 years and more been Israel's MOST holy site.
Nor will it take issue with the intolerance of those who follow Islam, and who ban anyone who is not a Muslim from praying on the Temple Mount.
Israeli Arab MK Ahmed Tibi, who is believed to have timd his action to coincide with the Machsom Watch commercial campaign, "demanded" Thursday that Internal Security Minister Avi Dichter allow all Palestinian Arabs unrestricted access to the Temple Mount for Ramadan Friday prayers.
Ynetnews quoted him as saying that "restricting the age of worshipers is a scathing attack on religioous freedom."
The historical record shows that only under Israel has the right of religious freedom been protected and guaranteed for Jews, Christians, Muslims, Bahais and the followers of any other faith.
It is only those who will not forswear violence who have been banned from the Temple Mount.
Israel protects the rights of all the rest to visit there - even if it is at her own expense.
