Hamas denounces Israel, threatens to abduct more soldiers

By Ryan Jones
October 22, 2006

The Hamas rulers of the Palestinian Authority have threatened to kidnap even more Israelis, citizens of a nation they say is a blemish on the Middle East.

During a rally in Gaza on Friday, PA Foreign Minister Mahmoud al-Zahar had this to say:

"Kidnapping soldiers is still an option, to assure the liberations of Palestinian prisoners."

Those "Palestinian" prisoners he speaks of are sitting in Israeli jails because they have either murdered Israeli Jews or have attempted to do so.

Al-Zahar went on to explain that Israel is an "abcess" on the Middle East that Hamas will never agree to recognize as a legitimate nation.

Said the outspoken terror boss:

"We will never recognize Israel, and that is a final decision and is not up for negotiation."

The terror bosses views are in line with those of Hamas Authority Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh, overall Damascus-based Hamas leader Khaled Mashal and the group's sponsors in Tehran.

Last week, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad assured Hamas and other like-minded killers throughout the region that Israel would soon "disappear."

He did not elaborate.
