UN to Israel: Stop overflights. Israel to UN: No way

The United Nations, whose failures to monitor the growth and strengtheneing of the Hizb'allah in the years before Israel was pulled into a war against the Lebanese terror group last July, Saturday again called on Israel to stop its monitoring overflights of Lebanon's territory.
Israel again refused.
The UN says Israel's flights are in breach of the ceasefire resolution that brought an end to the July war - at Israel's expense.
Israel's position is that its overflights are intended to elp ensure that the Lebanese do not breach the agreement.
The Israeli government and people have many reasons not to entrust their security to the UN, which has passed more resolutions condemning Israel than any other state since its inception in 1945.
