Security chief recommends Gaza invasion

Israel Security Agency director Yuval Diskin told the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee on Tuesday that Israel needs to prepare for a broad military offensive in the Gaza Strip.
It is not the first time Diskin has recommended that the government authorize a full-scale invasion of Gaza in order to curb "Palestinian" rocket fire and destroy the massive terrorist infrastructure Hamas is building there.
Diskin and other defense officials fear that if Israel waits too long, Gaza will be as treacherous an area to operate as southern Lebanon proved to be last summer.
