Granny bomber wounds 3 soldiers

A 57-year-old "Palestinian" grandmother blew herself up against Israeli soldiers operating in Gaza on Thursday, lightly wounding three.

Fatima Omar al-Najar was a mother of nine and grandmother of 41. Hamas immediately claimed credit for the bombing, and released a video clip in which Najar appears decked out in Hamas garb holding an assault rifle and reading from the Muslim "holy" book.

Her immediate family told reporters that they were immensely proud of what Najar had done, and hoped to follow in her bloody footsteps.
