Christian humanitarian leader says Jews control the world

The former head of the UK-based Christian Aid humanitarian organization stated last week her belief that pro-Israel Jews wield disproportionate influence over US and British foreign policy.

It was not the first time Baroness Jenny Tonge had advocated that old anti-Semitic blood libel that suggests the Jews secretly rule the world through diabolical means.

Tonge stepped down following her latest statement. Media reports speculated that she was forced out, after other members of Christian Aid sought to distance the organization from Tonge's remarks.
