Kassam rain falls again with no Israeli response

Palestinian Arabs in the Gaza Strip sought to kill and terrorize Israel's Jews once again Tuesday, firing at least five Kassam rockets into the Negev.
Despite the fact that the attacks were a brazen breach of the "ceasefire" agreed to by Israel and the Hamas-controlled Palestinian Authority, Prime Minister Ehud Olmert chose not to retaliate.
Olmert, who says he believes restraint demonstrates strength on Israel's part, has prevented the IDF from responding to over 20 rocket attacks since the "ceasefire" took effect.
It is not clear whether a direct hit in which Jewish women and children are maimed or killed will push Olmert into a response.
The Arab street reads weakness into Israel's non-response, however, and is strengthened in its belief that the Muslim world will ultimately secure total victory over the Jews.
