'Israeli gov't won't stop Syrian weapons transfer
Source: The Jerusalem Post

Syria is openly, and almost daily, shipping arms to Hizb'allah in Lebanon, but the Israeli government will not allow the IDF to do anything to stop them.
This is according to a high-ranking military officer who spoke The Jerusalem Post at the weekend.
Another senior officer, the Director of the IDF Strategic Plannoing Brigade, told the Herzliya Conference Sunday the Middle East was becoming increasingly unstable and that Iran had a finger in almost every conflict in the region.
Israel is preparing for a possible war against Hizb'allah and Syria in 2007.
