Spanish town sought to commemorate 'Palestinian Genocide Day'
Source: Ynetnews
January 31, 2007
The residents of a Madrid suburb wanted to hold a special day to commemorate Israel's "genocidal war" against the Palestinian Arabs.
Blatantly-biased media coverage of the Israeli-"Palestinian" conflict had apparently done its work on the less than 20,000 citizens of Ciempozuelos.
An enormous outcry led the mayor to call off the decision.
The town refused, however, to participate in the January 27 International Holocaust Remembrance Day.
