Egypt accuses Israelis of spying
Source: The Jerusalem Post
February 04, 2007
Egypt, which maintains a frigid 'peace' with Israel and regularly vilifies the Jewish state, has accused three Israelis and an Egyptian of spying.
An Israeli government official has denied any knowledge of the allegations.
According to an Egyptian security source, the Israelis recruited the 26-year-old Egyptian to collect information on Egyptian and other Arabs in Canada and Turkey.
This information was "harmful to Egyptian interests."
