Gaza synagogues become terror firing zones

Two of the largest of the synagogues left behind by Gaza's uprooted Jews have been transformed by the "Palestinians" into launch pads for terrorist rocket attacks on southern Israel.

Israel abandoned 20 synagogues when, under international pressure, it ripped more than 8,000 Jews from their homes in Gaza in the summer of 2005.

At the time, Jerusalem placed a tremendous amount of misguided hope in the Palestinian Arabs' ability to behave decently and not destroy the places of worship.

But it only took hours for rabid "Palestinian" mobs to descend on the synagogues and deface and burn them mercilessly.

Tellingly, the United Nations did not see fit to put the "Palestinians" on the stand for that orgy of religious intolerance, though Israel is now on trial before the world body for its decision to repair damage to the Muslim-controlled Temple Mount in Jerusalem.
