'Palestinian' rockets pound southern Israel

Gaza-based "Palestinian" terrorists fired five more missiles into southern Israel on Wednesday, narrowly missing the towns of Sderot and Ashkelon.

Islamic Jihad, a close ally of the ruling "Palestinian" faction Hamas, claimed credit for the barrage.

A day earlier, Defense Minister Amir Peretz said that if such attacks continue, they may just start to pose a real threat to Israel and necessitate some kind of response by the IDF.

Traditionally, Israel's political leadership tends to brush off such aggression unless it actually results in dead Jews.
