War on Terror

Israeli commander eliminates 2 terrorists in a week

An Israeli Border Police company commander personally killed two leading "Palestinian" terrorists over the past week.

His company, which has been operating undercover in the northern Samaria town of Jenin, has all but eliminated the main Islamic Jihad cell operating there.

On Wednesday, the commander, identified by Ynet only as M., led his men against Islamic Jihad chief Ashraf Sa'adi and two of his associates.

They tried to capture the terrorists, but when the "Palestinians" opened fire, M. and his men were ready and gunned them down.

M. was hit in the shoulder during the gun battle, but refused to be evacuated, and ended up killing Sa'adi himself.

A week earlier, it was M. who shot and killed Mahmoud Abu Abid, the Islamic Jihad handler who dispatched a would-be homicide bomber to Tel Aviv.

M. said he was satisfied with the success he and his men were having in Jenin.

"This is a terrorist cell that will do anything to harm Israelis. I am pleased that I was the one who eliminated the cell."

...

"This is my country, and I must protect it."
