Hamas remains confident of Israel's demise

Hamas leader Khaled Mashaal said on Tuesday that Israel eventually be destroyed, and the "Palestinians" need to be ready for that day.

Until then, Hamas will settle for a full Israeli withdrawal from Judea and Samaria, and nothing less, Mashaal stated.

The Hamas supremo made the remarks during a visit to Tehran, where he was guaranteed of continued Iranian financial backing for the Hamas-controlled Palestinian Authority.
