'Palestinian' terrorists killed by Israeli forces

IDF forces patrolling in the Samarian town of Shechem Tuesday shot and killed two Arab gunmen who opened fire on them in the marketplace.

The dead men reportedly belonged to PA chairman Mahmoud Abbas' Fatah faction of the PLO.

Israel has been conducting intensive counter-terror operations in Samaria and Judea throughout the past year, arresting suspects virtually every night.

As a result, the number of successful and attemppted terrorism attacks has been greatly reduced.

This does not mean, however, that the Arabs are being more peaceful, although such an impression could be created.

Even as the US-driven land-for-peace process continues, the "Palestinians" are arming themselves while they plan and still attempt to kill Israeli Jews.
