Terrorist killed in Jenin shootout
Source: Associated Press
March 28, 2007
Israeli troops killed a "Palestinian" terrorist during a shootout in the northern Samaria town of Jenin early Wednesday morning.
The soldiers were there to arrest wanted terrorists. They were engaged by a group of gunmen belonging to PLO chief Mahmoud Abbas' Fatah movement.
Jenin is a major stronghold for Fatah's paramilitary terrorist forces.
Abbas made a campaign appearance with the main Fatah terror boss in Jenin when he was running for election in late 2004.
