DM turns on his own people

Israeli Defense Minister Amir Peretz announced Thursday he plans within two weeks to throw Jews out of a house they purchased in Hebron, because their presence there is a provocation.

Peretz, who has failed completely to halt the daily firing of Kassam rockets at Jews in the south of Israel, and who has been accused of seriously fumbling the execution of last summer's war against the Lebanese Hizb'allah, has now decided to act against his own people instead.

Hebron's Jewish community, which has documentation proving that the house was legally bought from its former Arab owner for $700,000, has charged that Peretz's decision is driven by antisemitism.

Right-thinking Knesset Member Effie Eitam accused Peretz of acting out of political considerations.

"It is a house which was bought legally," he blasted the Defense Minister, according to The Jerusalem Post.

"This is real provocation."

But Peretz insists that it is up to the government, and not to private individuals, to decide whether a purchase is legal or not.

He said he would be looking for the "legal tools" required to expel the Jews from their new home.

Recent history has recorded the fate of those in power in Israel who have moved to uproot Jews from their legally acquired homes and farms.

Hebron is one of Israel's three holy cities (together with Jerusalem and Tsfat - Safed).

The Bible states that God gave the land on which these cities are built exclusively to the people of Israel.

Together with international assistance, and the cooperation of left-wing Israeli leaders who do not believe in God or His Word, the Islamic world is working to steal this territory from the Jews.
