IDF troops wound top Abbas-aligned terror chief

IDF troops on Saturday shot and wounded top Fatah terror boss Zakariya Zubeidi during an armed clash in the northern Samaria town of Jenin.
Zubeidi, who is close to PLO chief and overall Fatah leader Mahmoud Abbas, was hit in the shoulder during the gun battle. He was later listed in light-to-moderate condition by "Palestinian" medical officials.
Zubeidi is among the "Palestinian" terrorists most wanted by Israel for his deadly activities against the Jewish state.
That, of course, has made him wildly popular among the Palestinian Arabs, and even Abbas paid homage to Zubeidi's fame by making a public appearance with the killer during the PLO chief's 2004 presidential election campaign.
