AG did NOT give green light for 'antisemitic expulsion'

UPDATE: Contrary to what was reported earlier Wednesday, Israeli Attorney-General Menachem Mazuz did NOT approve the antisemitic decision of Defense Minister Amir Peretz to evict Jews from their newly acquired Hebron home.
The Jewish residents say they legally purchased the "Hevron Peace House" for $700,000 from its previous - Arab - owner.
He was reportedly arrested by the Palestinian Authority and could face the death penalty for selling property to a Jew.
Peretz is resolved to evict the Jews from their new home because they did not obtain "state approval" to buy it and the city's Arabs are expected to react violently to their presence there.
Except for a brief, 19-year period, Hebron has been home to Jews for more than 3000 years.
It is one of Israel's three holiest cities, but is also home to tens of thousands of Muslim antisemites.
