US, UK restrict Israel’s response to Kassams

The United States of America and the United Kingdom have messaged Israel to proceed cautiously in its efforts to stop Kassam rocket fire against Jewish civilians in southern Israel.
Both countries were diplomatic in giving advice, indicating that they support in principle Israel’s right to act against the terrorism.
But they sought to tie Israel’s hands by stressing that any response should be “in accordance with international law…should seek to avoid civilian casualties” and should avoid undue damage against “Palestinian” infrastructure.
Gaza’s terrorists typically operate from among the civilian population in the hope to either hinder Israel’s ability to respond or to be able to accuse Israel of hurting civilians when it is forced to respond.
For their part, the “Palestinian” people accept the fact that terrorism emanates from their population centers, and applauds all terrorist attacks on Israelis.
