Report: Nasrallah held secret meeting with Assad and Ahmadinejad

By Stan Goodenough
July 23, 2007

Lebanese arch-terrorist Hassan Nasrallah reportedly "sneaked" into a meeting with Iran's Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Syria's Bashar el-Assad in Damascus last Thursday.

During the meeting, Ahmadinejad and el-Assad are said to have formed a new regional military alliance. A primary reason for the pact is understood to be Tehran's efforts to "dissuade" the United States or Israel from striking the Iranian nuclear program.

The Iranian leader warned about a "hot" summer during which Iran and Syria would secure victory against their enemies.

Two days after the get-together, during which the "extremely sensitive" regional situation was discussed, Nasrallah told the Arabic news network Al-Jazeera that his organization has missiles able to hit targets anywhere in Israel.

Hizb'allah already had those capabilities during the last summer's war, he bragged.

"Even in the months of July and August 2006 there was not one place in occupied Palestine that we could not reach, every point and every corner," Nasrallah was quoted as saying. "I stress that we can do this today as well."
