Hamas poised for coup in the 'West Bank'

A month after their bloody overthrow of Palestinian Authority chief Mahmoud Abbas and his Fatah forces in the Gaza Strip, the Hamas Islamist terrorist organization has announced its intention to soon do the same in Samaria and Judea.

In preparation for this coup, senior Hamas officials say they have successfully infiltrated "very deep" into Fatah.

Muhammed Abdel-El told WorldNetDaily (WND) Monday the Hamas-affiliated Popular Resistance Committees is "already ... planning to obtain American weapons and takeover the West Bank [sic] like we did in Gaza with help from the Palestinian resistance, including elements in Fatah, the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades and the Fatah Security Services."

Just last week, three thousand Kalashnikov rifles and hundreds of thousands of rounds of ammunition were shipped from Jordan into the PA and quickly distributed among Palestinian Arab “security forces” throughout Samaria and Judea.

This took place with the express permission of Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, acting in coordination with the Bush administration to buttress Fatah against Hamas.

WND quoted Abu Yousuf, a senior aid to Hamas leader in Gaza Ismail Hineyah, as saying: "The moment of our taking control in the West Bank is not far away."

The chief of Hamas' "special forces" in Gaza messaged all Fatah members "not to resist because the Islamic project (Hamas) is coming very soon to the West Bank."
