More "birds" fly home - Isaiah 60:8
By Stan Goodenough

Masses of determined enemies may be surrounding the little nation of Israel, hundreds of millions of people may be committed to her destruction and billions may detest the homeland of the Jewish people and fervently wish it had never been reborn.
But at least 2000 Jews laughed the danger and hatred to scorn this summer and chose to make aliyah - immigrate - to their ancient and reconstituted Promised Land.
A few hundred of them came on three planes that landed at Ben Gurion International Airport near Tel Aviv in a period of less than 24 hours from 7 am Tuesday.
They came from the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada, carrying babies, children, mothers and fathers, grandparents, secular, religious and "ultra-orthodox" Jews - all with a common, driving purpose - to make Israel their home.
A crowd of about a thousand people hosted by the Nefesh b' Nefesh organization responsible for arranging the flights, and including family members of the new arrivals, turned out to welcome them with songs, banners, balloons, laughter, tears, and shouts of joy.
Interior Minister Meir Shitreet welcomed them home.
