Bush: Nuclear Iran = Holocaust
By Stan Goodenough
August 29, 2007
US President George W. Bush believes that, should it acquire a nuclear bomb, Iran could unleash a holocaust in the Middle East.
"We will confront this danger before it is too late," the American vowed.
Instead of an appropriately grave response to so grave a threat, however, Bush who is fast running out of time to do anything meaningful said the west's response to such a specter was to "rally friends and allies to isolate Iran's regime, to impose economic sanctions."
Iran "cannot escape responsibility for aiding attacks against [US-led] coalition forces and the murder of innocent Iraqis."
The White House warned in a statement, and not for the first timre, that Iran must act "at once."
