Muslims desecrating Temple Mount with Olmert's blessing

Muslims riot all over the Palestinian-occupied areas and throughout the Middle East when Israel announces plans to build a new entrance ramp up to the Temple Mount complex.

But Muslim Arabs can dig a meter-or-more-deep trench right across the top of the Mount, using back hoes and other earth moving equipment, endangering - and possibly destroying - millennia-old archeological remains dating from Israel's First and Second Temple periods; and no one cares to stop them.

No-one except, perhaps, a single Druze Israeli policeman who tried unsuccessfully to block their digging with his body Wednesday. Israeli police officers who arrived to the scene failed to arrest the Arabs that were beating up the policeman, and let them continue the digging without interruption according to a report on Israel National News.

Israel's Druze are fiercely loyal to their adopted homeland.

They are, to many concerned witnesses, a great deal more so than the government of Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, which has permitted the desecration of the Mount to go on for weeks without intervening.
