JNW – Praying the Word for Israel

Israel is teetering on the brink of war, a war which when (not if) it breaks out has the potential to be the most devastating this reborn nation has had to face, fight and win, in 60 years of continuous conflict.

As we head into the fall, rumors are flying thick and fast in the Middle East, and everyone is wondering just where the second-hand stands on the countdown to conflagration.

The Bible tells us that ingathered Israel will fight wars until the Lord Himself will descend with a shout and go forth to fight against the nations that come against Jerusalem.

It tells us, too, that Israel will win every battle until that great and final war to end all wars.

Watchmen posted on the walls of this city can hear, see and feel the mounting waves of prejudice and hatred that threaten to engulf the Jewish people in their God-given land.

We know Israel will not be destroyed, but we can see, too, that more pain and suffering threaten this nation as it fights to survive.

We need to pray, but how? How can we pray? What should we pray?
