Annapolis summit on track claim PLO negotiators

Two senior members of the terrorist PLO's negotiating team Friday rejected reports that the land-for-peace conference set for Maryland later this year has hit a wall.
Their denials came after a meeting between Israeli Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni - who last week was appointed to lead Israel's team to the talks - and former Palestinian Authority "prime minister" and veteran terrorist Ahmed Qureia.
Qureia reportedly called "nonsense" a recent rash of reports suggesting the initiative had stalled.
"There is no crisis at all," he said, according to the Israeli daily Ha'aretz: Israel and the Palestinians still have their sights set on framing a shared vision of peace.
This will come as disappointing news for those Israel-supporters who would be happy to see the parley called off rather than Israel's security further compromised as they believe this conference will do.
Christian Zionists have been praying for insurmountable obstacles to be strewn in the way of efforts by US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice to convene the event.
