UN Foundation flies in to "help" Israel

Ted Turner, Kofi Annan and other members of Turner's United Nations Foundation group arrived in Israel Sunday to try and coax Jerusalem into moving ahead with the nationally-suicidal land-for-peace process.
Turner told Israeli President and veteran leftist appeaser Shimon Peres his group had "come here to see if we can help."
He called Peres, who more than any other Israeli leader is responsible for pushing the policies that have endangered Israel's security and future, "a beacon of light and a ray of hope."
Annan added his voice, saying the foundation members had come "here to listen and to see what is going on in the region."
"Peace is of great concern to all of us," said the former UN secretary-general who, during his long term at the helm of the UN, did little if anything to try and establish grounds upon which a just and lasting peace could be built.
