French court investigating video of Al-Dura blood libel

The authenticity or otherwise of video footage supporting allegations that the IDF deliberately murdered a 12-year-old "Palestinian" boy seven years ago is being investigated in a French court.
Antisemitic media have used the Mohammed al-Dura video to further fuel already near-universal loathing of Israel.
And anti-Israel terrorist groups have used the same footage to "justify" a number of violent crimes committed against the Jewish state.
The IDF and independent media watchdogs have long disputed the charges against Israel, asserting that "Palestinian" gunfire killed the boy or that the whole event was staged.
Israel’s image abroad has been tarnished down the years more through pro-Arab media distortions and lies than anything else.
When investigated, reports of Israel perpetrating “massacres” and deliberately targeting civilians have repeatedly been found to be untrue.
By the time the falsehood is exposed, however, the erroneous perception has taken root.
