Israeli Arab Sheikh - There was never a Temple on the Temple Mount

The head of the Israeli Arab Islamic Movement, Raed Salah, stated Monday that no Jewish temple has ever stood on the Temple Mount - site of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock.
"The claims of the Jews are big lies and they have no right to any speck of dirt here," he said, according to The Jerusalem Post.
Inciting Arabs to riot against Israeli Jews in time-honored fashion, Salah, said the Post, accused Israel of "carrying out extensive digs under under al-Aqsa mosque, and was hiding destructive tunnels under the compound which had already caused damage to the mosque and several houses in the Muslim Quarter."
Like untold numbers of Israel's Muslim Arab citizens, Salah supports the destruction of the Jewish state.
And the Arab who shot eight Jewish students in cold blood last Thursday carried Israeli identity documents.
On Monday, about 500 people protested at Jerusalem's Hebrew University against "the incitement of Arab student groups against the state."
