Abbas' PA again celebrates life of yeshiva terrorist

The internationally-supported and US-funded Palestinian Authority continues to thumb its nose at the world and exalt the Arab who attacked a Jewish seminary in Jerusalem 10 days ago.

After first lauding Ala'a Abu Dheim as an Islamic holy martyr, the official PA daily, Al Hayat al-Jadida, ran a report in which the killer was described as a bridegroom; his funeral as a bridal procession.

According to Islam, the Muslim who dies in the act of killing Jews and Christians gains instant access to paradise where he is welcomed by 72 virgins who will satisfy his every need.

PLO/PA chief Mahmoud Abbas announced, for western consumption, his condemnation of Abu Dheim's terrorism immediately after the attack.

But the veteran terrorist, who earlier this month bragged about having fired "the first bullet" in the "Palestinian's" terror war, has allowed his news organ to repeatedly hail the terrorism as a great deed, the terrorist as a hero.

After decrying Israel's insistence on the killer being given a quiet burial, the newspaper went on to declare that three days of celebration would be held, with the town welcoming "all of those who come to congratulate the groom and hang[ing] his portrait embracing the nation's flags."

Western support for Abbas appears to be largely unaffected by his frequent relapses into support for terror and violence.
