Palestinians: Conflict belongs to us all
Refute assertions that a few extremists are fueling fighting

The Palestinian Arabs have refuted Western assertions that ongoing conflict in the region is the domain of a small extremist minority, and that the general "Palestinian" public has nothing to do with terrorist aggression against Israel.
In a survey conducted by the Palestinian Center for Public Opinion last month, a sampling of 677 "Palestinians" were asked if they believed the conflict is a battle between all "Palestinians" and all Israelis, or, as Israeli leftists and their allies in Europe and Washington claim, a struggle between peace-seeking majorities on either side and the radicals in their midst.
An overwhelming 69.2 percent majority stated the conflict belongs to them all.
By contrast, the majority of Israeli Jews are so desperate for peace that last month they voted for political parties ready to unilaterally surrender to most "Palestinian" demands at the mere hint that doing so may result in some modicum of peace.
