'Palestinians': Terror war against Israel continues

According to the results of a recent public opinion poll, the Palestinian Arabs see their terrorist campaign against Israel's Jews continuing, despite the temporary lull in hostilities and the renewal of contacts between Israel and the Palestinian Authority.
More than 62 percent of those surveyed said the current Intifada was still ongoing, in conjunction with US-brokered peace talks. The PA has long used terrorism and ?peace? negotiations as complementary tactics to achieve their goals.
Forty-five percent of respondents said utilizing terrorism in this way had benefited the ?Palestinian? cause.
Asked about the performance of the PA and the various ?Palestinian? terror groups on the national stage, most said the PA had performed more poorly than the terrorists.
A majority of Palestinian Arabs said they intend to vote in the upcoming January 2006 Palestinian Legislative Council election, and at least 25 percent plan to vote for Hamas.
That would make Hamas the second largest faction in the PLC, behind Mahmoud Abbas' Fatah, which is set to receive 38.6 percent of the vote.
The survey was conducted by the PA's State Information Service between August 16-22 among a random sampling of 1,758 ?Palestinians? over the age of 18.
