'Palestinians': Israel cannot battle terror

By Ryan Jones

According to the Palestinian Center for Human Rights, Israel possesses no legitimate means of combating Arab efforts to mass murder its Jewish citizens.

Over the past several days, Israel has set up military roadblocks, arrested hundreds of terrorist operatives, and attacked facilities in the Gaza Strip used to prepare and launch rocket attacks on nearby Israeli towns.

In a press release Tuesday, the PCHR said every one of those steps constituted an unjustified escalation of Israeli aggression, despite the fact they were the direct response to a massive weekend artillery barrage on Jewish civilians.

The ?PCHR is gravely concerned that a green light given to [the IDF] by the Israeli government, allowing [it] to launch wide scale attacks, including extra-judicial killings and incursions in the Gaza Strip, will result in more casualties among Palestinian civilians,? the statement read.

The PCHR sees Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorists as ?civilians.? It condemned Israel earlier in the week for destroying a ?civilian? vehicle in which two Hamas members were traveling en route to launch another Kassam rocket attack.

The group also accused Israel of attempting to influence upcoming Palestinian Authority parliamentary elections by arresting so many wanted terrorists in Judea and Samaria.

In contravention of its signed agreements with Israel, the PA has allowed Hamas terrorists to seek election to its law-making body.

?Consequently, [the] PCHR calls upon the international community and the High Contracting Parties to the Fourth Geneva Convention of 1949 to immediately intervene? and put a halt to Israel's war on terror.
