30 chickens killed in Katyusha strike
Islamic Jihad bombs poultry to send a message

Following successful IDF strikes on Islamic Jihad terrorists in recent days, the terror group sought to signal it was still alive and kicking by firing an advanced Russian-designed rocket from the Gaza Strip Tuesday morning.
The Grad-type Katyusha slammed into the community of Netiv Ha'asarah. Israeli casualties: About 30 chickens.
While the killing of 30 chickens in retaliation for the liquidation of Jihad's top field commander and the wounding of several Gaza-based operatives brought comic relief to some, the growing use of Katyusha's by "Palestinian" terrorists is no laughing matter.
In addition to roughly double the range and payload of locally-designed Kassam rockets, Grad-type Katyusha's boast increased accuracy and are capable of carrying chemical warheads.
"Palestinian" terror groups, with little or no interference from PLO chief Mahmoud Abbas' regime or European observers, are believed to have smuggled large quantities of Katyushas and other advanced weaponry into Gaza immediately following Israel's withdrawal last summer.
With Hamas now controlling nearly all organs of "Palestinian" government, Israel and the West have all but given up hope that these weapons will be confiscated rather than used against the Jews.
