IDF kills 30 bad guys in Gaza

Operation Summer Rains continues

Israeli ground forces on an early morning incursion into central Gaza Friday killed 30 "Palestinian" terrorists, while suffering no casualties themselves.

Elite infantry from the Golani and Givati brigades, accompanied by tanks and artillery, entered the Palestinian Authority-controlled towns of Khan Yunis and Dir el-Balah, engaging the terrorists who had embedded themselves among the civilian population there.

IDF Southern Command later told Ha'aretz that Operation Summer Rains is ongoing, and to expect additional ground incursions in the coming days.

The IDF also continued its aerial bombardment of Hamas targets in Gaza Friday, blasting the offices of PA parliamentarian Mushir al-Masri.

Two days earlier, Masri made the mistake of publicly celebrating Hizb'allah's assault on northern Israel.
