Israeli forces last week uncovered a Hizb'allah-funded "Palestinian" rocket cell in the Samarian town of Tulkarm. They reportedly had several rockets already in assembly stage.
Tulkarm is within striking distance of the densely populated Greater Gel Aviv area, as well as Ben Gurion International Airport.
Security officials are confident of their ability to contain the rocket threat so long as Israel controls the area. But if Prime Minister Ehud Olmert succeeds in implementing his Judea-Samaria withdrawal, the situation will change dramatically.
