In a video address to the 5,000 Christians attending the International Christian Embassy's Feast of Tabernacles celebration, Prime Minister Ehud Olmert stated that Jerusalem will forever remain the undivided capital of Israel.
That declaration has been made by every Israeli prime minister who has addressed the annual event since its inception in 1980.
However, Olmert himself has over the past several years toyed with the idea of surrendering some of the Arab-dominated eastern parts of Jerusalem to the "Palestinians."
The Palestinian Arabs insist they will not live in peace with Israel unless Jerusalem becomes their capital as well.
